Seasonal Updates

No matter what season we are in, it is a good idea to turn your water off if you will be absent form your cabin for more than a few days.

Basic steps for a vacant cabin:

1.    Turn off the main shut-off valve. (Remember to turn off electricity or gas to water heater.)
2.    Shut off and drain your water system. Open indoor and outdoor faucets to drain pipes.
3.    Flush toilet once to drain the tank but not the bowl.
4.    Do not leave water running.

As always, please remain aware of water use and notify any PCSD directors or staff if you suspect a broken water line.
Please notify your guests and visitors that all vehicles must be parked off the Ponderosa community roadways during snow season (OCT to MAY).

The Ponderosa Property Owners Association (PPOA) has a Ponderosa Community Guide.
